My work moves between the rehearsal room, performance and individual lessons. Each asks for the same things: close listening, clear ideas and a willingness to work seriously together.

About Kenton
Musician first.
I’m a conductor, pianist, organist, composer and teacher. For more than twenty years, my work has moved between rehearsal rooms, performances, churches and individual lessons.
I studied music at City, University of London, with piano tuition at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Since then, I have built a varied professional life across conducting, performance, composition and teaching.
In rehearsal
The conductor is silent
in performance.
The real work happens in rehearsal: bringing the energy, trust and permission musicians need to reach their potential.
